Our Story
How It Started
Over a decade ago, we packed our hockey sticks and baseball bats and booked one-way tickets to Europe. We were chasing competition and adventure, but sport pulled us beyond the surfaces of each place we visited. Everywhere we went, we were welcomed into local communities, building close relationships with our teammates, hosts, and opponents. The game was the only introduction we needed.

Sport Was Just the Beginning
We’ve seen firsthand what sport can do. When you’re surrounded by athletes who share the same passion, the walls come down fast. The locker room becomes a place to chill and connect. Post-game meals lead to lifelong friendships.
When you add travel to that mix, it becomes something bigger. You’re not just visiting cities and checking them off a list: you’re stepping into a shared experience, part of a team, part of a culture. You get to see a place from the inside, welcomed by the people who live there because you showed up to play.
We’ve lived that ourselves, as athletes and coaches, and we built The North so you could too.
What We Create
We build international sports tours from scratch. Working directly with people on the ground means we can put you in venues you’d never get into on your own, against clubs matched to your level, in cities where we already know where to eat after the game. You don’t get that from a search engine.
Everything we build starts with the people we’ve met along the way. Years of playing, coaching and travelling have connected us with teams, coaches and friends across the globe, and that community is what our tours are built on.

The North Today
We started The North in 2018. Since then we’ve run tours in dozens of countries for hundreds of athletes, teams and school programs, across baseball, softball, hockey, golf and more.
We’re athletes and coaches ourselves, and we built this on one simple belief: sport is the best way to see the world.
