As a Sudbury native I was given the honour of representing my hometown both in provincial play as well as internationally with the North.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-xl font-semibold text-black black:text-black mb-0\"><strong>Where have you travelled with The North?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-6 mt-3 lg:mb-8 md:text-lg lg:text-lg text-black\">I&#8217;ve had the pleasure of taking part in three tours with The North \u2014 twice to Finkstonball and one unforgettable journey through the Adriatic. Some of the key cities we hit were Munich, Vienna, Salzburg, Bratislava, Budapest, Venice, Verona, Trieste, Bled, Ljubljana, and Zagreb.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-xl font-semibold text-black black:text-black mb-0\"><strong>If you could relive one day of your trip, which would it be and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-6 mt-3 lg:mb-8 md:text-lg lg:text-lg text-black\">Easily I would say the final day of any trip. Looking back at all the groups I\u2019ve been a part of, all have been completely different, but we grew just as close. That final day, as you realize that all of these complete strangers have become great friends and brothers forever is a feeling that won\u2019t leave me for years to come.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"w-full h-auto mb-5\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.sanity.io\/images\/criv2s5m\/production\/41f00d1627d5330ac38bbd1e5ca0205c84d7ba08-800x600.jpg?w=800&amp;fit=max&amp;auto=format\" alt=\"blog\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-xl font-semibold text-black black:text-black mb-0\"><strong>What did you learn about the European baseball community from your time with The North?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-6 mt-3 lg:mb-8 md:text-lg lg:text-lg text-black\">It is truly inspiring how completely devoted the European baseball communities are to their sport. While baseball isn\u2019t as mainstream as other European sports, those that follow it see it as a way of life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-xl font-semibold text-black black:text-black mb-0\"><strong>How has your North experience affected your relationship with baseball?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-6 mt-3 lg:mb-8 md:text-lg lg:text-lg text-black\">The North was the best reminder I ever had that we can\u2019t forget, this is a child&#8217;s game. It doesn\u2019t matter who you are, where you play, or what level you play at.
